The Research Advisory Committee (RAC) at Allenhouse Institute of Management is a
dedicated body established to foster a culture of research excellence and innovation. The
committee’s primary objective is to provide strategic guidance, support, and oversight of research
initiatives undertaken by the institute’s faculty and students.

Functions and Responsibilities
i. Strategic Direction: Providing strategic guidance and oversight to the institute’s research
activities.
ii. Research Proposal Evaluation: Reviewing and evaluating research proposals submitted
by faculty and students.
iii. Resource Allocation: Recommending the allocation of resources for research projects,
seminars, conferences, MDP’s, Clubs etc.
iv. Collaboration and Partnerships: Fostering collaborations and partnerships with external
research institutions and organizations of repute.
v. Dissemination of Research Findings: Promoting the dissemination of research findings
through publications, presentations, and conferences.
vi. Ethical Oversight: Ensuring adherence to ethical standards in research conduct.
vii. Mentorship and Guidance: Providing mentorship and guidance to faculty and students
engaged in research.
Meetings and Decision-Making
The RAC meets regularly to discuss and address research-related matters. Decisions are made
through consensus or majority vote, ensuring a democratic and transparent process.
